Marcy Sproull is an acupuncturist, teacher, and reading specialist who has been teaching in various capacities for over 15 years; in special day classes, programs for adults with disabilities, and college reading classes. She has worked with children and adults with developmental challenges, focus issues, and learning disabilities. She integrates holistic therapies into her teaching practices, such as mindfulness in reading and learning, and has developed a mindful reading course to help parents teach reading to their children.
In her practice, Marcy works with children with autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. She uses a gentle, non-needle technique to allow her young patients to experience the benefits of acupuncture without worrying about needles. She has developed a Calm Kids Acupressure course to teach parents how to use acupressure with their kids at home to enhance their health and well being.
